Practice Areas:

Albert J. (Trey) Dooley, III focuses his practice on the areas of real estate, estate planning, corporate matters, and probate matters. Trey also served as a Magistrate Judge for Lexington County in the Cayce / West Columbia office and as the Municipal Judge for the Town of Springdale. He also has experience as an architectural draftsman and construction planner.

Trey is a 1999 graduate of Lexington High School, a 2003 graduate, cum laude, of the University of South Carolina (B.A. in History with a Religious Studies Cognate), and a 2007 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. Trey also attended Clemson University.

Trey is a member of the South Carolina Bar, having been admitted to practice in the State of South Carolina in 2007 and in the U.S. Federal Court, District of South Carolina, in 2008. He was a member of the 2009 SC Bar Young Lawyer’s Division Task Force on Social Media. Trey is also a member of the Lexington County Bar Association and former member of its Executive Board.

Having made his permanent home in Lexington his whole life, Trey knows what makes this community unique, and what has helped it grow. It’s also why he’s chosen to raise a family here.
